Dear Parent, I would like to invite your child to be a part of our 2nd Annual Rich Rodriguez Michigan Youth Football Camp at the University of Michigan. My staff and I are pleased to provide this youth camp because of strong interest over the past year and the fun the campers and coaches had last year. Our plan will be to continue to run this camp the way we have run our highly successfull high school camp only stressing more fundamentals in the teaching. We will also run camp at a slower pace to assure your child will have a good time learning the game of football. This three day camp will provide your child a better fundamental understading of the game. They will also learn some limited strength and conditioning techniques to assist them in their physical development for playing this game. It is important for myself as well as my staff to promote this game we truly love. We look forward to helping them improve as a young football player. In order to accomplish this, campers will be instructed and drilled by my outstanding staff of Michigan Assistant Coaches, along with some of the best high school coaches in our area. Every camper will have the opportunity to use the same facilities as that of the University of Michigan Football Team. For years our high school camp has been well known for its organization, teaching, attention to detail, and promoting a positive environment for all high school campers and we do the same for the younger players. We will run this camp so that the younger students have the same opportunities as the older campers who attend the high school camp. Our goal is to make every child who attends camp a better football player, a better team member, and a better young person. The kids will have many experiences throughout the week, but their visit to the Big House will be one they will not forget. If you want your child to learn football and have a great time doing it, this is the football camp for them. We are excited about having your child at our camp and look forward to the opportunity to teach them the traditions of Michigan Football, GO BLUE!!
