Highlights of High School Camp

Highlights of The Michigan High School Football Camp

What do you gain from attending this football camp?

Exposure

Some of our campers are recognized in major scouting magazines. Several senior campers from last year’s high school camp moved on to play at all the different levels of college football. College coaches representing many division levels travel to Ann Arbor to help teach all of our campers and evaluate them as football players.
30 of the 50 states along with Canadians were represented by Campers/Coaches in last year’s camp. College and high school coaches who choose to work our High School Football Camp do so because of their interest in:
1. Working with you, the individual camper.
2. Evaluating you as a football player.
3. Working with the University of Michigan Coaching Staff.
4. Networking with other coaches working camp.

Instruction

The camp will have excellent individual and group instruction of technique in all positions. The Michigan assistant football coaches will head each of their specialized position groups, teaching and drilling fundamentals. There will be 7on7 along with 1on1 competitive drills where Offense and Defense will challenge each other. We will also address important elements that all athletes face at this level. Training / Nutrition / Social Media / Academic / and Recruiting are some of those elements.

Facilities

We will have access to our athletic facilities. Camp will be conducted on all of our football practice fields, both indoor and outdoor. Visits to the “Big House” will be part of your camp experience.

One of the unique benefits of our camp is all of our camp practice facilities are centralized so all activities are in close proximity.

Flexibility, Form Running and Sprint Technique

A popular area of the camp is the form running and speed training program. Our strength and conditioning staff will help campers gain the maximum potential in their running ability.

Many campers have experienced a noticeable increase in speed and flexibility after attending the camp.

Educational & Inspirational Talks

Our staff brings in outstanding college coaches, past Michigan players, and professional football players along with the Michigan support staff to talk on the positive benefits of football in a young man’s life.

These talks serve to educate as well as motivate the camper for the upcoming season.

Highlight Videos

2012 Michigan Football highlights along with NFL 2012 season highlights will be shown periodically throughout camp.

Other Benefits

Each camper receives official 2013 Michigan Football Camp apparel. Campers will meet other student athletes from all over the country, creating new friendship opportunities. Campers will be placed randomly on teams for competitions in both Air Force Football Games (non-contact football games) and Tug-o-War.

This camp is not a conditioning or recreational camp. It will be five days of non-contact, position specific football technique training.
